Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple we receive your name, email and that provider’s account ID; Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real one.
• Profile: your photo, bio, gender, phone number (optional), area, sports, skill level, play style and the ratings we calculate from your match results.
• Activity: court bookings, social sessions you join, tournaments, match scores, posts, comments, photos and videos you upload, likes, saved posts, connections, reports you file and players you block.
• Payments: the amount, method (bank transfer or MoMo) and status of each payment, plus the reference sent to us by our payment partners. We never see or store your bank card or MoMo login.
• Device: a push notification token if you allow notifications, and basic technical logs (IP address, time, request) kept by our servers for security.

Location

If you allow location access, the app uses your position on your device to show how far each court is from you. Your location is not sent to or stored on our servers.

How we use it

• To run the service: create your account, book courts, match you with players of a similar level, run tournaments and show your profile and posts to other players.
• To process payments and refunds with venues and our payment partners.
• To send you notifications and emails you need, such as booking confirmations, match invites and password reset codes.
• To keep the community safe: review reports, remove content that breaks our terms and suspend accounts that abuse others.

What other people can see

Your name, photo, sports, ratings, match results, posts and comments are visible to other SportHub users. Venue hosts see the name and contact details needed for the bookings and sessions you make with them. Players you block can no longer see your posts or comments, and you will not see theirs.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Venues and hosts, for the bookings, sessions and tournaments you join.
• Payment partners (SePay for bank transfers, MoMo for wallet payments) to confirm payments.
• Sign-in providers (Google, Facebook, Apple), only to verify your sign-in.
• Expo, to deliver push notifications to your device, and our email and hosting providers.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time in Settings in the app or on the website. Deleting it removes your email, sign-in methods, photo, posts, comments, connections and devices, and cancels your upcoming bookings (refunds for paid ones follow the venue’s cancellation rules). Match results and ratings are shared with the other players in those matches, so they stay but are no longer linked to your name. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile in the app, download a copy of your data or ask us to correct or delete it by emailing us. You can turn off notifications and location access in your device settings at any time.

Children

SportHub is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

All traffic to SportHub is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use elsewhere.
